The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I know most people's favorite time of year is Christmas.  Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE Christmas too, but Halloween is the most fun!  I love any excuse to dress up in costume.  We have an amazing group of friends here that all share that love...maybe a little too much! :)

We throw an annual Haunted Barn Party and get super excited to see what everyone will come dressed as.  This year we even had a couple go all out with Despicable Me costumes!  My hubby and I went as a knife throwing act...and not a good one!  Haha!

Last year we went as Red Riding Hood and the Woodsman.

 Last year we also had a friend's 30th birthday Prom...80's style!  Once again I reiterate that we like to dress up way too much.

For my 30th birthday and Amanda's 35th we did a 50's murder mystery night.  I have to say, besides the hat, I have actually worn this outfit multiple times since this night...

And I'm almost ashamed to admit that this isn't the only times we've dressed up in the last 12 months.  We had so much fun with the first murder mystery we did another one.  This one was Old West style!  Sadly I wasn't assigned the cool saloon girl character...no I was the women's rights activist!!
